This Privacy Policy describes how Cyberbot Academy (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the Wowency mobile application (the “App”), available on iOS and Android.By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Please read this privacy policy carefully. It contains important information about Your Personal Information and Your legal rights.

1. Definitions

This Privacy Policy uses the capitalized terms below. Review this section to ensure YOU understand what each term means.

“Cyberbot Academy;” “We;” “Us;” and “Our” means the Cyberbot Academy companies, which includes applications and brands such as Wowency and BotnBee, 153 High Street, Norwell, MA 02061, USA

“Collect” means any activity Cyberbot Academy may perform with your Personal Information, including collecting, processing, using, and storing your Personal Information, as well as sharing it with (but not selling it to) third parties.

“Customer/partner(s)” means organizations (such as retail stores, companies, etc.) that purchase Wowency Services, or individual persons that work for, are employed by, or represent such organizations.

“End User(s)” means any person who uses Wowency App & Cyberbot Academy Services.

“Services” means, collectively, Wowency’s digital creativity platform which offers users and partners access to a creative community, designs, advertising, etc. The Wowency app is a go-to app for all your creativity and discovery. 

“Personal Information” generally means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual, but may have a different definition under applicable law. 

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide and improve the App’s functionality:

2.1 Personal Information

• Email address

• Phone number 

• Username / display name

• Profile avatar (image)

2.2 User-Generated Content

• Content created, uploaded, or shared by you within the App, including text and images, and videos. 

2.3 Usage & Analytics Data

• App interactions and feature usage

• Events and performance metrics

• Device information such as operating system version and app version

2.4 Authentication Data

Authentication is handled securely through Firebase Authentication using the following methods:

• Email and password

• Phone number verification

• Google Sign-In

• Apple Sign-In

• Facebook Login

• Anonymous authentication

We do not store passwords directly. We store hash passwords

2.5 Other Data

• Payment and billing information, such as Your personal or business billing information, including bank or financial account/institution information that is necessary for making payment. Whether Cyberbot Academy Collects personal or business billing information depends on the payment method and the party making payment to Cyberbot Academy.
  
  

• Ad engagement data and targeted ad information like views, clicks, forwarding or originating website; and email engagement data (views, opens, clicks, clickthrough, and other interactions) from emails Cyberbot Academy sent to You regarding marketing, promotions, product updates, or other topics. 

• Web tracking information, such as website visitor ID and similar trackers and identifiers like cookies, pixels, strings, tags, web beacons, ad browser fingerprints, and geolocation.

• Data from ad engagement, web tracking and other sources to infer certain Personal Information about You, like a predicted age, profession or occupation.

• Website, Services, and application usage or visit data, such as logins, visits, sessions, downloads, clicks, keystrokes, and other interactions with Cyberbot Academy’s Services.

• Internet connection, web browser, and device profile data, such as IP address, device and browser type, operating system, language, resolution, and apps; device IDs such as MAC, Apple ID, Android ID, Ad ID, and serial numbers; and geographic identifiers such as device or web browser geolocation information.

• Audio, video, or photos/images of You if you participate in certain events, user studies, surveys, or provide an identifying document at Cyberbot Academy’s request. Cyberbot Academy will always request your specific and unambiguous consent before Collecting this Personal Information.

• Your saved preferences and settings about: (i) communications from Cyberbot Academy and Cyberbot Academy business partners and service providers; (ii) Cyberbot Academy’s and Cyberbot Academy’s business partners’ and service providers’ Collection of Your Personal Data; and (iii) Your preferences regarding whether Cyberbot Academy may share Your Personal Information.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage user accounts

• To authenticate users and provide secure access

• To store and display user-generated content

• To improve app functionality and user experience

• To analyze usage patterns and app performance

• To send important service-related notifications

• To detect and fix crashes and technical issues

4. Who We Share Your Personal Information With

Cyberbot Academy DOES NOT SELL PERSONAL INFORMATION AND DOES NOT SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION IF PROHIBITED BY LAW. Cyberbot Academy only shares Your Personal Information with third parties if those third parties commit to contractual obligations to use your Personal Information in compliance with applicable law.

We share Your Personal Information with the following types of third parties:

• Cyberbot Academy’s Service Providers and Business Partners: Cyberbot Academy shares Your Personal Information with Our business partners and service providers, like those we use to help deliver our Services and app(s) to you, such as payment processors, banks or financial institutions; app stores, etc.

We also share Your Personal information with third parties We use to help us run, advertise, and market our business, such as marketing agencies; online marketing, lead generation, profiling, and targeted advertising providers; industry event hosts; website hosts, and cloud hosting providers; data and market or business analytics and consulting providers; financial or security auditors; and insurers or brokers.

Other Approved Third Parties: We share Your Personal Information with third parties You connect to Cyberbot Academy’s Services or correspond with Cyberbot Academy through such as social media networks.

Government Organizations or Law Enforcement: We may disclose and exchange information with law enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies to comply with Our legal and regulatory obligations.

As Part of a Merger or Acquisition: We may also share Personal Information with other third parties, such as potential buyers of some or all of Our business, or during a re-structuring of Our business.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services provided by Google Firebase, which may collect information used to identify you.

• Cloud Firestore

• Firebase Storage

• Firebase Analytics

• Firebase Crashlytics

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Push Notifications)

6. Data Storage & Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data:

• Secure cloud infrastructure provided by Firebase

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS)

• Access control via Firebase Security Rules

We have an information security program that we continuously update. Our information security program includes a variety of physical, administrative, and technological safeguards designed to protect Your Personal Information. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect Your Personal Information, such as data encryption; de-identification and anonymization (where appropriate and practical); firewalls; use and access limitations for our personnel and vendors; and physical access controls to our facilities.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We advise you to enable applicable security features that our application made available to you and protect your own credentials.

7. Push Notifications

We may send push notifications to inform you about important updates or app-related information. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for users aged 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the App and its services, or until you delete your account.

10. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated data:

• Directly within the App (if available), or

• By contacting us at support@wowency.com

Upon account deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed or anonymized, unless retention is required by law.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you

• Request correction or deletion of your data

• Withdraw consent where applicable

12. YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE GDPR 

According to the GDPR, You have the following rights with respect to Your Personal Information:

Right to Be Informed - The right to know or be notified about the collection and use of your personal information.

Right to Access - The right to be provided with a copy of your personal information (the right of access).

Right to Rectification - The right to require us to correct any mistakes in your personal information.

Right to be Forgotten - The right to require us to delete your personal information—in certain situations.

Right to Restriction of Processing - The right to require us to restrict processing of your personal information—in certain circumstances, e.g., if you contest the accuracy of the data.

Right to Data Portability - The right to receive the personal information you provided to us, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and/or transmit that data to a third-party - in certain situations.

Right to Object - The right to object:

• At any time to your personal information being processed for direct marketing (including profiling)

• In certain other situations to our continued processing of your personal information, e.g., processing carried out for the purpose of our legitimate interests

Right Not to be Subject to Automated Individual Decision-Making - The right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing (including profiling) that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.

13. Canadian Residents

To the extent applicable to our collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Data relating to Canadian individuals, Cyberbot Academy complies with the principles of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”), including accountability, identifying purposes, consent, limiting collection, limiting use, disclosure and retention, accuracy, safeguards, openness, individual access, and challenging compliance and the Canadian Anti-Spam Law (“CASL”), including commercial electronic messages sent to exempt and non-exempt recipients who have provided their express of implied consent.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App or updated on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

15. HOW TO CONTACT CYBERBOT ACADEMY 

At Your request and if applicable law requires, Cyberbot Academy may do the following: (a) disclose to You a list of Your Personal Information that we have collected; (b) delete, amend, or correct Your Personal Information.
